The coat hanger.
 
Start with a simple piece of 2" x 4" lumber. Measure 18" off of the bottom, and make a cut. Sand both ends (figure 1). Hammer a 3" nail into each end of the 2" x 4", leaving enough room to attach the string (figure 2). Tie a 36" string to each nail, making sure it is secure. Don't forget how much your favourite suit weighs (figure 3). Lift the hanger up by the string, making sure it is evenly distributed (figure 4). Throw your pants or shirt over the hanger, and enjoy the ease of use!
