The portable stool.
 
When travelling about it is often favourable to bring a seat so that, when tired, you might have a means to rest your feet. A simple stool needs a seat and a leg. A piece of 2"x 4" and a broom handle are the only materials you will need (figure 1). Cut the broom handle in half and drill a hold 3/4" into the seat (figure 2). Set the broom handle upon the ground, and insert one end into the hold of the seat (figure 3). Sand the eat to remove any possible splinters. When ready for a rest, sit on top of the seat (figure 4).
